I had an aquamedic experience which was in a pool full of sea water heated to 38 degrees. You had to move around different areas of the pool which had high pressure of water pumping out to different parts of your body, starting with the feet to laying on a bed which had pressure points all down your body, it only costs $35 for a two hour experience…..I felt wonderful afterwards, definately recommend this to anyway especially if you have bad circulation.

The hotel is really amazing on entrance, nice big lobby. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We did the non inclusive deal as we wanted to be able to explore and eat more local foods as well, but the deal came with breakfast which was really nice and had a nice revolving selection of food every morning.
The rooms were nice and spacious, it’s not as old as I was expecting after reading some other reviews on here. They are cleaned twice a day so you will have a constant fresh supply of bath towels.

It was great to wake up every morning and just walk out of the back of the hotel and you are at the lovely big pool and the beach.
The pool is really good with a good split for the family with young children and the adults on the deeper end. I think they have pool activities every afternoon as well (aqua aerobics and pool volley balls) which always sounds like everyone is having lots of fun.
The beach is awesome, the sand is nice and white and soft. The water isn’t great but since the pool is soo good and it is right there it wasn’t a problem at all.

Lots of beach umbrellas and loungers all along the sand and grass area with waiters for you to order food and drink from, nothing better than getting a cocktail bought to you on the beach!
Beach towels are provided for so don’t need to bring your own.
We had a walk along the beaches from the hotel and found that the Grand Mirage location and beach is the best along the coast for a few hotels up and down. The others didn’t have as much beach area and it wasn’t as flat so it looked rather uncomfortable. Some of them also had the fishing boats right outside as well. So think this was an added bonus.

The food isn’t the cheapest compared to what you can get locally but if you did the all inclusive package that wouldn’t be an issue at all. We just had lunches and dinner out every night which gave us a bit of variety. But that is really up to the experience you are after.
Our flight out wasn’t until after dinner and we spent our last day on the beach. The hotel was very accommodating in organising a room for us to have a shower in before our flight home.

I did get a message by the pool through the hotel service it was lovely but not as cheap as what you can get across the road, but I rathered pay more and have the nice view still cheaper than what I could get at home.
All in all I loved staying here and would recommend it to couples (like us) or families.

the room was big with very old interior i felt like stuck in the 80’s,very old bathroom, i think this hotel needs renovation badly. pool was big enough, the beach was awesome. restaurant food was good and the staff was nice. game room have nothing to play with except a pool table and few games for children and it looks so gloomy.

Beautiful tropical paradise. All inclusive food was great. Variety of activities. Cheap shopping. Full of lush palm trees and tropical plants. Although it was wet season all we had was about couple of hours of pouring rain in the morning and than beautiful sun rest of the day.
