Dhyana Pura Beach Resort is situated brilliantly on the beautiful beach of Seminyak, Kuta, Bali. This resort was built in 1976 on a 3.8 hectare area in the strategic location of Seminyak. Dhyana Pura is chosen as the name to represent its own uniqueness which means place of the nature spirit. So if you are the one who seek for spirit rejuvenation, this place is the perfect one; a place to find true refresh.
From the first time, Dhyana Pura Beach Resort was intentionally built for a body and soul retreat. In era of 70’s this hotel was the only reason people come to the area of Seminyak which, at time was still a hidden paradise. Even, the street in front of this hotel was named Jalan Dhyana Pura.
With a combination of meditation and the nature healing ambience, this resort is the best place for finding peace. In the early days, the first 90 rooms were built with two-story hall for group meditation. The wide area of green grass around the hotel buildings make this resort a suitable place for a family or company outing since the green grass area could be functioned as a spacious party place.
For the restaurants, Dhyana Pura Beach Resort provided you with two main restaurants: Eden Garden restaurant for in house guests and Kintamani restaurant for conferences. The Dinner arrangement in the area of beautiful garden is also possible, with Balinese dance on the open stage as the live entertainment. Besides that, parties or some special events could be organized on the roof the hotel building, with spectacular view of Kuta Beach sunset.
Also try the spa therapists offering personal relaxation, leaving your body, mind and spirit in balance and harmony. A wide selection of pampering and rejuvenating menu and packages are available, like having Balinese massage continued by body lulur, yoghurt body splash, aromatic flower bath, hair cream bath, a choice of pedicure of manicure, and so on. Dhyana Pura Beach Resort is really the best place to refresh your body and spirit.

We have just spent a week at The Dhyana Pura & we were very disappointed. The only reason we booked here was to be close to my sister who was staying across the road at The Royal Seminyak Beach.
The first room we were shown over looked a building site. The 2nd was 20 meters closer to the beach & the final one was well located about 50 metres from the beach & opposite the pool.
The room was good for the price & everything worked.
Unfortunately the location is poor in regard to shopping or restaurants. You have to walk about 400 meters to find a mini mart & a selection of restaurants. (Although there are some “Beach Shack” type restaurants on the beach front. These are quite nice for Lunch but not really an evening meal place.
The pool area is quite unkempt & has no “vibe” at all. The swim up bar is unattended & the sun lounges are in disrepair. Breakfast is very limited. No cereals, yoghurt or cooked indo/western dishes, although an egg station is provided. During 7 days I never saw one person in the restaurant for lunch or dinner.
There are better located hotels close by.
