We recently stayed & ate at the legian Village Hotel for a long period and we were very pleased with all services and the presentation of our room. We have stayed elswhere in Bali over 30 times, so we have more than enough experiences to make sound judgement. Any minor problem with plumbing was attended to immediately, which is all that you can ask for. The room was efficiently cleaned daily & any specific request was granted with the utmost efficiency. The restaurant has an extensive menu & the quality is well above what should be expected for the price. A couple of the restaurant staff do need a course on the importance of smiling & customer communication. The bar staff & service were more than could be expected, we had many cocktails & they were 100% genuine. The office staff were very friendly & eager to please at all times. The safety deposit boxes were all new & very hi-tech, & there are numerous security officers, possibly they could keep roudy people out of the pool after 10pm .If other guests wish to take unknown people into there rooms while intoxicated,
then they can only blame themselves for any negative occurances. This is an excellent hotel for the price, situated in the best position in Bali & we will be staying there on future visits without question.

We stayed here for 10 days. The staff were incredible. The facilities were good. Anything we needed (extra pillows etc) was provided quickly and with a smile. Air conditioned rooms, small balcony, bar fridge, shower and bath, tv. The restaurant was one of my favourite parts of the holiday. Amazing food, awesome atmosphere. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just step out the door and something is happening on the street. We didnt ever need a plan for the day, just walked outside and there was something to do.

This hotel is not a resort. It is one of the cheapest offered in the Qantas holiday packages, so there are going to be negatives, but the positives outweigh them. The biggest problem was the bathroom. It was very tired and less than sparkling and it wouldn’t take very much to fix it up. However our bungalow room was large, with a comfortable king bed and a small terrace and garden. There was nobody next door, so it was very private but if we had neighbours, maybe a bit close. We were in the original hotel, right on Jl. Padma, and can’t comment on the complex across the road, but we were really pleased not to have any traffic noise, or even noise from the bar which had live music every night. We really appreciated that gowns and slippers were provided. All staff were extremely pleasant and the breakfast (included) was tasty. There are no safes in the room, but they are available in reception and the security is very tight. Wifi is available free for only a 30 min session each day but purchasing more time is very cheap. The location is really good for shopping, restaurants and the beach. The hotel has recently built six new rooms which looked really nice, so it might be worth asking about one of those, although they are closer to the bar and might be a bit noisy. The swimming pool is in full view of diners in the restaurant so a bit public, and it too is tired, but refreshing after a day’s shopping.

Room Tip : Enquire about the newly built rooms

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it has always been excellent. The staff are very friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. I stayed recently and there were some noisy people next door to me and after I spoke to staff, they moved the people and kept the room vacant so I could have a quiet time.
It is located close to everything, only 5 minutes walk to the beach. I plan to stay there again because it is also very inexpensive, with a great breakfast inckuded.
