i have just had two nights here at the grand mega resort bali, they will pick you up from the airport if you ask. I was v impressed with the effiency of the hotel driver, he had my name card at the airport, and got to the hotel within 10 MINS. Shuttle bus goes into kuta daily but you have to get your own taxi back which costs $7 aus. BREAKFAST VOUCHERS ARE GIVEN OUT and they offer a full buffett breakfast with an omlette chef. staff are v polite and friendly and always smiling. I had a pool view room on the ground floor with not much daylight getting in. the decor is a nice purple and silver and v modern, very firm bed to sleep on and a nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. they do have a spa bu it didn’t use it. mostly indonesians staying here, .there is a big shopping mall across the road. The hotel is on a busy main rd but when you are in the hotel it is v quiet. there is a bar at the pool. It is ok for a quickstop over, good value for money

Room Tip : don’t pick a room on the ground floor as they are too dark during the day
Our first trip to Bali and scored “opening” specials on Agoda. A driver picked us up from the airport and from the begining went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The trip to the hotel took about 15-20 minutes, but the traffic was terrible.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the admin staff to organise a check in and were given cold flannels and welcomes drinks (non-alcoholic).
We were checked in quickly and then were shown to our room. Rooms were AMAZING and so clean. When we arrived to our room, the staff put our bags away for us and one of the staff were in the bathroom running us a bath.
An hour after check in I headed to the day spa for an hour long massage which cost us the equivalent to $18.00 AUD – and was AMAZING! After the massage I was given a complimentary ginger tea which was devine.
Breakfast at the hotel was also devine! You could eat and not have to eat lunch! Noodles, rice, and egg man who makes your eggs for you fresh and to how you like them. Pancakes are also cooked to how you like them with fruits or chocolate chips!!
The location is a bit out of Kuta, but the most it cost us at any time was $2.50AUD!! The security is great as well, and made us feel very safe.
I have no dea how anyone could not rate this hotel low as it was amazing and the service was top notch. We have stayed at lots of hotels, but this would have to be one of the best!
We will be back again soon and thank you to the Grand Mega for making our Bali hoiday amazing!

*Staff very friendly and helpful
*Location was too far from Kuta
*U need to catch a taxi and there is traffic 24/7!
*Taxi Drivers are mostly rude and want to rip you off!
*Rooms were weird, Bathrooms were massive but rooms were tiny. Probabely 20 sq.m bathroom area and 15 sq.m was the room.
* No privacy at all. The room didn’t have a wall on one side, instead a glass wall which you could see the pool from it. The curtains in the bathroom open from down to up so even if you open them slightly, everyone at the pool can fully see the inside. So the room was always dark with no sunlight. The lights were so weak and the room was very very very dark.

Room Tip : Definitely not first level as everyone can see inside your room.
We stayed for our first 2 nights here. I found the room and resort to be very clean and room service was great. The pool area and swim up bar were awesome and buffet breakfast was beautiful, fresh pancakes, eggs and omelets made to your request. It was about a 10 minute walk to central Kuta or a short taxi ride. If you aren’t used to Bali the taxi drivers do try to rip you off so you are best to get the resort to call one for you as they will always run the meter and the road is very busy so hard to get one yourself. There is a big shopping mall with restaurants across the road. It’s not the best position but it’s a lovely resort and the staff were great
