I have just recently returned from Villa Sundari and would highly recommend it to anyone. It comfortably sleeps 8 people and there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and have their own space. The pool and outdoor space is gorgeous and you can dive straight from the lounge room into the pool.
I would definitely stay there on my next return to Bali!!!

Beautiful villas for a great value. The pictures don't give it justice, it was larger than I had imagined it would be. Exceded my expectations. Great location too. 5 min. walk to the beach and potato head beach club, short taxi ride to town. The service was excellent and the breakfast hit the spot every morning. Great stay!

I loved the practical design of the villa, and the generous size of its private pool, though I wished it was heated, especially when I took a dip in the night. The location is quite secluded, and many taxi drivers did not know the way, so just ask to be taken to Sentosa, the bigger villa residence just nearby, and direct the driver from there. There is a convenience store just a couple of mins walk away, across the road. Walk a little further, about 10mins to your left, and you will reach the Seminyak beach. Quiet beach, but rather dirty and uncomfortable because of the coarse sand. The waves were roaring, definitely unsafe for swimming especially since it was such a quiet beach. Nevertheless, it was definitely a treat, this villa, after a tired day out, I could stop by Ultimo or Rumours for dinner, then it's just a 5 min taxi ride back. Unsafe to walk as the roads were barely lit. The villa had a semi outdoor bathroom, which looks out to the garden, and has a huge round tub that would fit a couple comfortably. I hope the place is being well looked after, cos I definitely would want to go back there again, on my next trip. Boutiques are close by, e.g. Seminyak square, bamboo blonde, and tons of souvenir, arts n crafts stores, and home decor too. A different, less stressful shopping experience vs Legian. So do give it a try... The price is reasonably better vs the nearby Kayana, but of course minus the hospitality and 5 star service. This villa gives you a more homely feel,

I couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewers comments! I've just had 5 nights at Villa de la Vie with 6 others and we had a fantastic stay. The villa is very centrally located in a quiet lane behind Seminyak Square - smack bang between Eat Street, Grocer & Grind and Bodyworks.
The villa was exactly as shown in the pictures and personally I think was even more impressive in real life! The airport pickup was easy and the lovely staff made our stay very enjoyable - the villa was kept spotless everyday and it did not feel as if the staff were intruding or hanging around, they were very sweet and helpful. We enjoyed our morning breakfast of banana pancakes, omelette, toast, fresh fruit and bacon.
Having wi-fi access was great and there were heaps of channels on the pay tv so we were able to watch lots of the Olympics!!
The rooms are all spacious as are the ensuites and we hjad more than enough space for 7 adults.
All in all an awesome villa stay with all the mod cons and nice touches you would expect. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a well priced, confortable, centrally located villa.

Stayed at Villa De La Vie recently with the extended family and to say I was a little disappointed was an understatement.
Overall the Villa itself to look at was beautiful, everything you could want on a trip away from home. Large open spaces and plenty of room for the kids with easy access to restaurants and shopping. However it's the little things that let this place down.
To start in all four bedrooms the water pressure was non existent, and so to was the hot water you where lucky if the water was even tepid.
The pool though aesthetically beautiful is not heated and freezing cold the kids didnt even want to jump in that often. And the jacuzzi running off the pool was just as bad.
We spent 12 hours without electricity one day - no back up generator available
Breakfast is very limited and basic though tasty it is more of a mums Sunday brekky cook up than restaurant quality.
And when you run out of the essentials like fresh pool towels or even need more when the staff go home your on your own and you have to make do. Also
Unlike others when I'm on holidays I want privacy and peace and though the staff are amazing the two women we had looking after us couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, they were always in the background from 7am till 3pm and this made it hard to fully relax and unwind and feel any sense of privacy. And I can't forget the mozzies - make sure you bring repellent !!!
Overall the only thing this villa has going for it is the overall presentation, location and the staff which save this place from having a terrible review. Unfortunately this was not a memorable stay for us in Bali but it could have been worse.
