Stayed at the Bounty Hotel Bali quite a few years ago and after reading all the reviews felt complelled to add mine. This was our first trip to Bali as a family of five consisting of three teenage boys, I searched long and hard for a hotel that I thought that they would have a lot of fun at. This would not be my choice of hotel for a couple or young family as it truely is party central and you are probably better off being single. My boys loved every moment of it. There was a feeling of inclusivness and it was hard to actually get the boys to do family things. We booked two rooms during this stay, the boys had an ajoining triple room, both rooms were quite large with a Balinese decor. It was not up market, it was cheap but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was adequate with basic amenties. There was some noise through the night as there was a 24 hour pool-bar but not that bad that we couldn’t sleep. The pools were not big but they were certainly refreshing and a welcoming sight particularly after coming back from our adventures around Kuta and other destinations. The hotel had a great entrance and foyer- all balinese wood and the breakfast area was open to the outdoors, the food was O.K, it was a nice place to start the day. The Bounty is in a great location, it does not have a beach view,(the majority of Kuta hotels are not on the beach) but Kuta Beach is just a short walk and many restaurants, bars, markets, shopping and night clubs surround it or are in close walking distance. During our stay we were able to arrange with the hotel a white water rafting trip, a full day fishing trip, surfing, para sailing and various excursions around the island at quite a cheap rate. The Bounty is a great 3 star resort, particularly for the under 30s. My boys who are young men now, hope that not much has changed and want to return. If you are looking for luxury then this place will disappoint, if you are looking for a party or a holiday romance then you may be in with a chance.

Great place to stay for Australian’s – feels like you never left home with all the aussies staying here! Mostly for the young crowd has a great Party environment.
Racked up a massive room charge bill on drinking at the pool bar and massages! totally worth it.
Rooms were clean and tidy.

Great hotel if u want non stop party. 24 hour pool bar thumping music til late and lots of people who have the same party idea. Hotel is in the centre of kuta and 10 minutes from beach and night clubs. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the Friday nite party is a must go. The show is great and drinking games lots of fun to watch and participate in. Security staff are good and remember u but reception is hard work at the best of times. Anything u want the guards can propably get for u. Lots of reveiws say that the music is to load near the pool. I was in a room very close and while it is loud had no dramas sleeping. But I was there to party. If u want a relaxing holiday hotel look elsewhere. For the price of the room I fell u could get better elsewhere. ( see my wina villa review) but u are paying for the party atmosphere. Overall if u are young and in a group or solo this is the place for u. If u want romance or a family holiday it is not.

Room Tip : Look for a room in the middle of resort do its nut to loud and entry and pool are easy to get to. If u have a group of 4 get the duplex rooms to save some cash.

Very old hotel !full off aussie kids which were drunked all day!! The hotel staff try to rip you off wherever they can! Breakfast poor !!! definitly overprized but good location… woudnt stay again at this hotel
